Horror Movie
My photos have been so creepy lately. Like I said in my other post this mask was TOTALLY worth it and graininess of this photo was purposely done to give that old horror movie feel.
You were creeping through your house, the power had just gone out. You hear footsteps. Those were definitely not yours, your heartbeat quickens and you find a box of matches. Fumbling to light it as you hear the footsteps getting closer. The match flickers to life, and this is what you see.
So freakin' creepy man. I take a lot of inspiration from horror movies and urban legends, just because they're so interesting. Its hard to portray the same ambiance through a photo, but I try. Let me know in the comments, do you guys like horror movies/ Urban legends ?
Also, new DIY coming on Monday, so stay tuned!!

Typewriter
I adore my typewriter , and it is February, the month of love, after all. I have yet to write an essay on it, but I've typed letters and sent them to people and I just feel so official! I feel as though every typewriter is unique, like each one has that one key that's faded when you type it, and that's what makes them so beautiful! It adds this wonderful vintage feel to my room, and I have a simple quote typed on it that changes every month. This fine February is... yep you guessed it. LOVE. It looks so cute all typed out in the faded typewriter letters. Speaking of letters, I want a pen pal...

Phantom
Can we just talk about how creepy this photo is... I had seen these white masks at party city previously and I absolutely NEEDED to take a photo with one of them. And $3.00 for this mask isn't half bad for hundreds of photos. This particular photo is actually a candid, and my favorite candid for that matter. Honestly, candids are always the best photos (*take note of that*). When you buy the mask, usually they have stapled the tag to the top of the mask, so I pulled my hat over my head in order to conceal the holes made by the staples, and the camera went off as I was turning. This has to be one of my favorite photos, although I do really look like a murderer I fell as though this photo tells a story. That's a really important thing when looking for inspiration. Find something that tells a story.
YOUR story!

E is for...
I participate in an instagram challenge every Sunday, and the prompt this week was 'E is for...' so instead of doing an eye, or an elephant, I took it upon myself to crack an egg and take a picture of it. Not the greatest idea. Although I captured a killer picture, there was egg EVEYWHERE! I'm still asking myself whether or not this picture was actually worth it. What do you guys think??
